Standing on the corner with my wife, BIKE
You see, you want, you see you want it, my wife, BIKE
Standing on the corner with my wife, BIKE
You see, you want
You see, you want it, my wife
Cannot feel my legs, must’ve lost my footing...
How’d I end up upside down?
Took that turn too late now I’m on my stomach...laying in a pile of my own
blood
Contemplating harnessing my light, BIKE
You see, you want, you see, you’ve seen with your third eye sight, WIFE
All in your head, you’re running around
(running around and around)
What can you say? Nothing to say? Good God...
(seeing my face in the clouds)
What’s in your head? You’re running around...
(skipping right to my own beat)
What can you say? Nothing to say? See you want, see you want it
Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
